The Dynavox VC150 record clamp is a practical alternative to the stabilizer. Compared to the stabilizer, it does not work with your own weight, but with a practical clamping manchanism. It improves the sound by preventing the record from slipping during playback and reducing unwanted resonances. In addition, due to the better stability of the LP, it increases its lifetime and that of the scanning needle. Due to its low weight, the plate clamp is gentler on sensitive disc bearings in contrast to the stabilizer, better for synchronous operation and is ideally suited for subchassis players. The clamping device consists of anodized aluminum at the top and the construction material polyoxymethylene, which is preferably used as a construction material, e.g. for precision parts of precision engineering
